DWS offers possibly one of the most comprehensive training and education aeronautics curriculums in our industry which were designed by commercial airline pilots and flight instructors and trainers who are also drone licensed pilots, on small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (s/UAS) to learn drone technology both on-line and at our school locations.

 

We also teach students how to operate their drones in the field to obtain careers in this growing industry. We teach students how to start their own drone company inexpensively. This “Best in Class” instruction and materials offer strategies and information that provides the breadth and depth of instruction to be a successful and proficient drone pilot and learn the rules, regulations, and laws, to pass the Part 107 exam, required by the Federal Aviation Administration and thereby become certified as a drone pilot. We teach you not only how to pass this exam but how to have a successful drone career.

Instruction:

70 hours over 10 weeks (7 hours/week)

  • FAA first time test- (DWS Drone School, Inc will pay for the exam but the student must take the test within 60 days of a course end date for reimbursement)
  • Parking (provided at no cost)

Drone Phantom 4 Pro v2, Mavic 2 pro or drone equivalent, one extra battery-$1,900.00

Note: Each student is required to purchase from DWS Drone School, Inc a DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2, Mavic 2 pro or equivalent and all drone equipment to attend the class.

DWS offers a comprehensive training and education aeronautics curriculum on small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) which purpose is designed to educate, empower, enable and encourage students to learn the art and science of drone technology and how they can apply what they learn in the classroom, in labs and workshops and in the field to obtain careers in this growing industry. This best-in-class instruction and materials offers strategies and information that provides the breadth and depth of instruction to be a successful and proficient drone pilot and learn the rules, regulations, and laws, and in particular Part 107, Remote Pilot – Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Study Guide, required by the Federal Aviation Administration and using the Pilot’s Handbook for Aeronautical Knowledge, to pass their test and thereby become certified as a drone pilot.

Requirements: No dirty urine, (we have the right to perform a substance test at any time), high school diploma or GED, a willingness to learn, attend all classes and be on time for all classes.
